We are proud to be a delivery partner on the ‘Moving On’ project supporting 15 and 16 year olds who are still at school but who are showing signs of unsettlement and are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
WHAT DOES ‘MOVING ON’ DO?
Moving On re-engages young people and provides personalised packages of support to tackle attendance, attainment, performance and behavioural issues. We deliver this through a tailored package of extended work experience support.
WHO IS INVOLVED WITH ‘MOVING ON’?
Moving on is delivered by Lancashire Employment & Skills Executive Partnership (LESEP) partners supported by a wider network of delivery organisations that have expertise in working with key target groups and who deliver specialist services. The project is managed by Preston’s College.
WHAT DO WE OFFER THROUGH ‘MOVING ON’?
This programme will offer work based learning and support to young people through extended work experience opportunities, working alongside local employers and our team to:

Be exposed to a variety of career pathways and progression opportunities
Enhance transition to work skills
Develop maturity, positive ‘can do’ attitudes and responsibility

If you are a school and have any 15 and 16 year olds who you feel would benefit from employer led IAG and our tailored support, then please get in touch.
