Mentoring

Our mentoring programme is for students who require additional support, with the aim of helping them to fulfil their potential and gain a better understanding about their own skills and qualities and career choices later in life. We can tailor this programme to suit individual needs and address specific issues/ challenges to re-engage students back into school.
There are 2 delivery options:
1) Bespoke 1 to 1: If student numbers are small and/ or very specific areas of support are required, then we can offer one to one personalised sessions with the EBPNW team. The sessions would normally last up to 1 hour following a task and finish activity or a coaching discussion depending on the student. We would expect to have contact over at least one term and it can be in school time or at the end of a school day.

2) Employer Led, Group based: This programme option will take place during school time and we invite employers and local business owners into school as role models to support students through class-based activities, which we fully facilitate. By collaborating with local businesses, we hope to give young people great life-changing experiences to get them inspired about the world of work. Our preference is groups of up to 10 students, over 6 sessions (either consecutive weeks or calendarised in advance).
